Kimberley Small was born & raised in the Chicagoland area. She is the proud mother of 4 (3 daughters and 1 son) and the even prouder grandmother of 2 boys! Raising her children to be god-fearing, responsible and caring adults is one of Kim’s greatest accomplishments among others.
Kim currently attends the University of Maryland to acquire
Degree/Business Administration/Accounting; she is a Certified Internal Auditor; have worked for Costar Group/Apartments.com for 16 years as the Accounts Receivable Manager and is currently working for FTI Consulting as a Senior Accountant.
At an early age, Kim learned about Christ and was compelled to follow the pathway of righteousness. She was gifted with a melodious voice and have used her gift to minister to many souls over the years. Kim also became involved with other ministries within the church, where she held the following positions of leadership; She was the Youth Director at Word Made Flesh Worship Ctr. In Midlothian, IL; The Administrator for the Director of Worship at New Life Covenant Southeast and is currently on the Board of Directors for a non-profit agency called H3~Helping Hands Heal; Kim’s favorite scripture to live by is Romans 12:1 “Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service”. This was definitely her mantra while raising her daughters.
Kim is passionate about empowering, encouraging and educating young girls to be more than just “pretty faces”, but to be productive, confident and responsible ladies who are comfortable in their own skin! She finds great fulfillment in being a part of youth mentorship programs as she too had a mentor when she was a teenager and give them a lot of credit for equipping her with valuable life skills and tools to be the woman she is today!
