Shining S.T.A.R.S. meetings are held once a month, every 2nd Saturday of the month during the academic school year.
How Can You Be Apart?
Girls ages 5-12 who wish to join, and women who wish to volunteer as mentors, send an email to stars1@shinedc.org

Who Are We?
The Shining S.T.A.R.S. is a Community-Based program that is dedicated to cultivating young girls through the childhood and adolescence stages of life. We are a team of women invested in providing a safe haven for girls; while promoting academic success, character development, and leadership.
What Do We Do?
Our mission is to: Educate, Equip, and Empower girls ages 5-12 with tools to utilize for Reassurance, Self-Discovery, Self-Confidence, and Self-Acceptance
